A private lesson is a lesson between an individual and the instructor. The private lesson may take place on a public or freestyle session, whatever is arranged between you and your instructor.

Our instructors are highly qualified professionals. Both children and adults benefit from their teaching skills. They give personalized instruction to both figure and hockey skaters, and they encourage good sportsmanship, individual goals, self esteem, coordination, hard work, and dedication. Our instructors take pride in their profession and really enjoy passing on their knowledge of skating.

You are encouraged to visit during our group class times to see how our instructors interact with the students. Then feel free to approach the instructor of your liking to directly arrange lesson times.

Private lesson fees are paid for in the Ice  House Pro Shop and your lesson ticket will either be put in the coach's mailbox or you can directly give it to your instructor. Lesson fees are for instruction only and do not include admission or skate rental.

If you need to cancel a private lesson, please notify the instructor by calling the Ice House or the instructor at least 24 hours in advance. You may be charged for lessons that are not canceled 24 hours in advance. Please check with your instructor for their individual policies.
