Have your next birthday party or private party at the Ice House. We will be more than happy to customize your party to maximize your entertainment experience. We can provide trained instructors to help your party members skate or provide broomball equipment to provide an ultra cool battle for your private party.

Group Public Skating
Bring a groups of 15 or more to ice skate during any of our public skating sessions and receive a discount on admission! Great for church groups, schools, day cares, girl/boy scout troops, businesses or any other organizations. Enjoy one of the fastest growing activities in the U.S. and offer your group a unique experience.

Group Private Ice Skating

Would your group like to have the ice all to themselves? Bring your group ice skating on private ice! Rent the ice during the day, evening, or late night hours and use it however you'd like. Play broom ball [hockey with brooms and shoes], ice hockey, learn to play the Olympic sport Curling, or whatever your imagination stirs up! Bring in music or use ours and you can have your own private party!

Fundraisers
Any school groups, boy/girl scout troops or other organizations can participate in our "Fill the Ice" fundraiser and earn money for their group.

"Fill the Ice" is a risk-free, minimal effort fundraising opportunity available to all groups looking to raise money for their organization activities. "Fill the Ice" fundraisers can be done during public ice skating sessions or your group can "own" the ice during a private ice session.

How does it work?
Once your group chooses a date to "host" a public skating or private ice event, it's your responsibility to "Fill the Ice".  Invite parents, friends, teachers or anyone you can think of to fill the ice. The Ice House will donate a portion of the gate receipts back to your organization.  How much you raise is based on your group's ability to "Fill the Ice'.

Raffles and Contests
"Fill the Ice" groups will be allowed to hold raffles and contests as well as set up a table to display information about the group during their skating session.

Skate and Learn

The Ice House Rinks offer accredited North Carolina public and private schools, day cares and other organizations the opportunity to expose their students to the educational and energizing aspects of ice skating during public sessions or private ice rentals.

Curriculum Ideas
Physical Education - Bring a phys ed class to any of our ice rinks and introduce the students to ice skating as a form of cardiovascular exercise.

Educational Tour -  Bring a science class our your home school group to observe the mechanical and cooling systems of artificial ice making.

Field Trips - Make ice skating a quarterly field trip. We guarantee the kids will love it!

Group Ice Skating Lessons

Beginner skaters have no need to worry. All Ice House rinks have skating coaches on staff to help with lessons, games, or even general instruction. Book one of the coaches for your group and have the time of your lives!
