The Greensboro Ice
House has several classes for adults who are looking to
learn to play hockey. Classes are offered on Tuesday
mornings from 7-8am and on Wednesday evenings from 6-6:50pm.
FAQ: How do I
get started and what equipment do I need?
answer: Simply
enroll in the class online, by phone, or in person.
You will need shin pads, elbow pads, helmet, hockey gloves,
hockey helmet, and a hockey stick. You may use rental
skates or purchase your own. Hockey pants, jock,
shoulder pads, jersey, and a face cage for your helmet are
highly recommended.
FAQ: Do I have
to do Learn to Play before joining the adult league?
answer: No.
However, it is highly recommended that you participate in a
Learn to Play class before joining the adult league.
Being comfortable and stable on your skates is very
important from a safety perspective.
